Scoil Mhuire Kilvemnon

Scoil Mhuire has been involved in Empowering Minds since 1999.

The Empowering Minds Learning Network serves 13 Irish primary schools, 24 classrooms, 29 teachers , and over 500 students. It is an offshoot of the Empowering Minds project, in which teachers and students explored the theme "Story, Myth, and Legend" with digital technologies.
One of the technologies used was the MIT Programmable Brick, which extends a LEGO construction kit, enabling children to build models that interact with the physical world through sensors and motors.

Last year we travelled to Kilkenny Education Centre and the Roboshow in Dublin to display our project which was about our favourite character of Jakers.
