We know that recycling is a good thing. It prevents rubbish being burned, which pollutes the air. Recycling means that less waste goes into the big dumps called 'Landfill'.
Mrs. Quin's Charity shop collects unwanted clothing, household linen, boots and shoes and sels them in their Charity Shops. They raise money from this for the Blind of Ireland.
Some is recycled and sent to the Third World. Nothing is wasted.
Recycling our old clothes keeps our country clean and the air pure.
A van comes to our school to collect unwanted clothing, etc. which is delivered to Mrs. Quin's Charity shops.
Help us in the
'Race Against Waste'.
